Gerard Casale

Background and Credentials

Casale graduated from Fairfield University with a B.A. in Economics in 1989 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1992. He began his career as an associate litigator and launched Casale Alliances in 1994, quickly focusing on business and corporate transactional law. Gerard has held significant roles in strategic corporate planning and international business development.


Casale was born in New Britain, Connecticut and currently lives and works in Santa Monica, California. He has been licensed to practice law in California since 1992 and is admitted to the Supreme Court of California, the District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Started as an associate litigator with Booth Mitchel & Strange in Los Angeles after passing the California State Bar in 1992.

1994

Founding Casale Alliances

Launched his own law firm, Casale Alliances, LLP, in 1994, focusing on business and corporate transactional law.

2000-2003

X-Laboratories

Founded X-Laboratories in 2000, an incubator partnership with Hughes Research Labs, Boeing, Raytheon, and General Motors. Managed the company as CEO and sold it to a Los Angeles-based PE fund in 2003.

Partner/member in several LA and NYC-based law firms, including TroyGould in Los Angeles, focusing on M&A and transactional law from 2004-2011.
